The guy in the paint section has given us solid advice over the past years with many different projects. Our most recent was a butcher block refinishing project which had much conflicting info online so we went in person to get his advice and recommended products and as usual it turned out great. The other staff are not helpful, particularly the guy in between flooring & electrical/plumbing, who won't even look at you if you're standing in front of him so we only visit this store when we need something in the paint section.
Hopelessly unhelpful and inefficient: I walked in this morning at 10 am, store was deserted. It took 3 persons to help me locate CIRCA 1850 Raw Linseed Oil in the store, even though I had prepared item and model numbers : #1675-912 and #21-4601. Apparently impossible also to find from computer... Then person #2 check me out and wanted to charge me $58 for the $25.99 item. Again unable to check on her computer, she had to consult my phone screen. Finally, item content is wrongly advertised on HH website as 1 liter. Real conte... read more
Staff was approachable and friendly, found me exactly what I was looking for and helped me get it all packed up in my car (which was a difficult task).
