Just read the previous terrible review giving this lovely facility one star and felt I had to respond. This is a beautiful pool and it has a sauna and steam room. It is very clean and well maintained and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I attended an aquafit class here, then I had a swim and sauna. I left the building feeling very relaxed after all the exercise. £10 each to get in for non members for the pool which isn’t too bad. However, the pool was very busy meaning there were too many people in the lanes to enjoy it. The steam room and sauna are tiny and not that hot at all, don’t really see why they bother have either when they clearly don’t have the space
Used to be a member here. Went to re apply to find the price was £65 but if you were anything other than a normal tax paying person the whole facility was completely free. (Immigrant, refugee, foreign, disabled, on benefits had a gp note, over a set age, under a set age, as advertised on their website) so I decided to go elsewhere and thought that I had already been taxed enough and signed up to pure gym down the road where everyone pays the same for their memberships and has the same right to be there and is treated as an e... read more
