480-664-9127 After 5 year of having a World War II Veteran at this group home the manager Sandra Sandoval wanted more money from $ 2000 to $ 3500 for his care and room. This WWII Vet is currently on hospice and he was co-horsed to sign documents with his blindness and low vision by AZ DES APS, Deanna Ringwald. Sandra Sandoval took Mr. Porter current Durable POA Health and financial decision away by having Mr. Kenneth Porter WWII blind disabled Vet to sign a Revocable POA removing his 10 yrs POA weeks before he died. Financial abuse was reported to Adult Protective Services. The group home installed a video camera above Mr. Porter TV and next to the door frame. As a blind WWII Vet he didn't even know. He didn't even know that Leisure living home manager Sandra Sandoval made a single room available for the price of $ 3500. Sandra received a contract for double occupancy residency for $ 2000 March 2017. At the end of this poor WWII this is what it's done to people who don't have family but have POAs and conservator. These money hungry group home will take and do everything to keep money and continue to be greedy. AZ DES APS complaint # 350960 filed 5/4/17 - (877) 767-2385

6/2/17 Update on Mr. Porter - he died today at 3am age 93, this group home did not call the ONLY person he knew for 10 yrs, Debbie Giannecchini. Sandra hanged up the phone when she was called the day before he died. Sandra Sandoval, the owner, took it upon herself to call Neptune Society to get his dead body vs. following Reflection Hospice instruction that were provided in full details by POA Debbie Giannecchini to have Reasearch for Life cremate his body and then send it to Skylawn Memorial Cemetery in California. Mr. Porter was admitted to Reflection Hospice beginning of April 2017 and DNR signed by Ms. Giannecchini because he had dementia. May 2, 2017 4 weeks before he died this Filipino group home had him Revoke a Power of Attorney, Sandra Sandoval filled the documents and had Mr. Porter on his last dying days sign with no legal representation, speaking about conflict of interest and elderly abuse !!!!!.
Mr. Porter was disabled Veteran and has been blind. How could anybody take advantage of this Veteran in such an ugly and shameful matter, well Leisure living home in Chandler, AZ did.
Since 6/2/2017 -Mr. Porter's body sits with Neptune Society and the Veterans Affairs cannot help further to bring his dead body back to Skylawn Memorial. Sandra Sandoval from Leisure living home had the nerve to question his signature on Research for Life, Mr. Porter when he signed documents with a Notary Public present and 2 other witness, but Sandra again put another road block on this poor WWII Veteran so his body cannot be donated as he wished. Research for Life now does not want to take his body to be cremated. THIS GROUP HOME IS TO BE AVOIDED AS THEY WILL BE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ANY ELDER WHO DOES NOT HAVE A FAMILY. ALL BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY AND GET A VULNERABLE OLD PERSON TO SIGN DOCUMENTS ON THEIR DYING REMAINING TIME.
6/5/17 This Group home tried to cash a check after he was dead for $ 3500 with StarOne Credit Union in CA. Accounts were frozen as he was reported dead on 6/2/17
