I had my vanagon converted to a subi engine and had no troubles with it. However, I would get the price established before the work is done! This owner quoted me $6-7k initially, and the price nearly doubled when the work was done! He knew this was a joint venture between me and my father, and he hustled us for thousands more. Their work is good. I had my van converted to a subi engine and had no troubles with it. I would get the price established before the work is done. I was quoted 6-7k initially, and the the price nearly doubled! I feel I was mislead and my pockets are still hurting. Quality work, but shady practice
