**DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!** I wish I could give her zero stars. My experience with her has been nothing short of alarming. She exhibits a concerning level of unprofessionalism and a troubling lack of accountability. After my mother suffered a stroke, this doctor discharged her less than 48 hours later, despite her blood pressure reading an alarming 190. Dr. Karimpoor is an amazing doctor and person. My loved one’s lung collapsed and she made it a point to frequently visit us (even though most of the care was in the hands of the ICU unit surgeons) leading with empathy and understanding, making the process as comfortable as possible, answering all my incessant questions with patience, and genuinely caring about our well-being and healing. this poor excuse for a doctor decided that proper medical care consisted of yelling at me in retaliation for a patient rights complaint i had made (which had absolutely nothing to do with her, or even any individual). she is everything a doctor should never be: sees patients as adversaries, comes at them with hostility, and generates conflicts based on her own obvious insecurities and ego issues. this woman should be investigated. i believe her frequent moves from one state to another likely represent a string of medical sca... read more

Dr. Karimpoor had a shocking lack of empathy, poor communication, and aggressive behavior towards my family while my mother was in the ICU at St. John's Hospital. She was handling my mother's discharge from the hospital and because my mother was still medically unstable, I asked her for the criteria for the discharge. She aggressively said "the criteria is she is ready to leave the hospital!" while having no knowledge of my mother's actual case and status.
