If you're in the Sturgeon Bay area at night, you have to visit Leif Everson Observatory. The staff is fantastic. They point out different stars and constilations in the sky. They have numerous pictures taken by the telescope on site. We went with our grandkids and ended up spending over an hour looking at the telescope and night sky. My grandkids can't wait to go back.
Absolutely worth the stop! They took the time to explain things to use and also showed us step by step how a large telescope works. It was one of the most unique event of our vacation.
Wonderful place to visit for all ages. The observation nights are educational and well presented.
