Referred to them for an assessment for a certain mental health disorder by a professional. When I had a consultation with the nurse at Central Access she dismissed me, said me traumas were not serious and told me to take antidepressants. Absolutely horrible.
They don't care, don't listen, caused massive amounts of distress and do not offer any support whatsoever. Use them only if you want to punish yourself.
The Central Access Point claims to provide “emotional support 24/7”, however every time I have called them I have not been able to speak about what I need to for more than 5 minutes, instead I am forced to listen to how I should try harder and do more. This inevitably results in my getting frustrated as I am already at my limit and in desperate need of support which I have been literally begging for for years. GP sent them my referral for a psychiatrist back in September on the 24th. No news since then, so I rang them today, December 16th to find out what the update is. The update: “Oh you wanted to see a psychiatrist for a diagnosis? Well you need to ask your GP for that” Top tier service right here, 10/10 would never recommend.
