Waiting with the child more then 3 hours in the waiting area
I was there last night waiting for someone to see my baby for 5 hours. The baby had just a cold and the GP told us that we should go to this ‘Emergency’ hospital. It was very crowded with no place to sit. Very grown up teenagers were attended and also an adult accompanied by two police officers. At the end nobody saw my baby and I had to go back home. Excellent last night. Arrived at around 10:40pm and was very busy. Reception desk staff got my son booked in very quickly and were very nice and attentive. He was very efficiently moved through from initial weigh in etc, to a doctor, for an x-ray on his knee injury, back to the doctor and then on to a consultant. All staff were lovely and really helpful, Dr Sam Jones in particular was really good - really nice, very helpful and reassuring and just generally spot on to talk to and make the visit a more pleasurable experience ... read more
