My doctor is still out and I needed a refill for my medication. I had a virtual visit with Dr Gong. It was very good and he was very helpful.
This is unreasonable, Dr. Gong. I visited your office for annual checkup. During the visit, Dr. Gong asked whither I wanted refile of my medication, and I simple answered "yes". I was not informed that agreeing to a refill request could result in the visit being billed under an additional procedure code such as 99214. Had I known that a medication refill would trigger an additional charge and a $70 copay, I would have declined the refill because I already had enough medication.
