Traveling on our way to Ely, MN. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We sat at the bar and had Lance as our bartender. The filet mignon was amazing!!
We stopped in for the 1st time in 25yrs in anticipation of a great steak. It was quiet for a Sunday evening, only 2 tables occupied. We were seated by our server who then forgot about us. After waiting 22min and seeing another table seated, then eating; we got up and left. Too bad…the food we saw being served was awesome! We ended up eating at Texas Roadhouse in Eau Claire. 🤷♂️
It's our favorite "fancy" place to go. The food is great and they put a lot of effort into good service.
Extremely slow service. Crackers in the basket-unecessary. The "relish" tray- in 3 words-worn, wilted and warm. Carrot(s?) Were limp and the few pieces of fruit were warm. That was it! Soup was good, but when we were done with it we got popovers which would of been nice to go with the soup. Along with our salad we got baguettes, again which would of been nice to be served with the soup.
