LAH Gives Good Care After reading the poor reviews, I just can't belive them. I have been a client of LAH for 7 years. They are professionals. I have never been rushed off of the phone or out of the office. I've never had to take my dogs back a second time for the same thing. Surgeries all went well. Also, EVERYONE in the office is friendly and kind to the animals. I've sat in that waiting room many times and never heard anyone complain. I wouldn't think of changing vets.
mistreated I got a black lab/pit mix givin to me and decided to have her checked at lehighton vet. Two days before I took her she was out side playing in the snow and started limping on her back leg. When I was their for her visit I asked about her leg and was told it was just a sore leg and she was probably getting aurthritus in it from a previous injury. My dog was only 7m at the time! Never Again! My dog had surgery there and had come home with a large opening on her front paw. Thinking that they might have had an IV in that paw I had asked the vet when I had returned to have stiches removed.Well they had no idea how it got there. They gave all kinds of excuses and had made light of it. Well, it looked nasty and they said I could take some type of powder home to help it heal. Great service The staff is so friendly and helpful and truly love and care for the animals they treat. They seem to charge fairly low prices for their services and don't try to push selling you things you don't need or want. We've had numerous surgeries and visits with both cats and a dog and we've been very pleased.
I can NOT recomend this animal hospital We have been taking our 8 month old beagle there for 6 months and the 3rd time we took him there we mentioned that he walked funny. They did nothing. Two weeks ago we took him there again because his walking got worse. They took expensive x-rays and handed me antibiotics and pain pills and said ??see if this works?. I then called to ask to borrow the x-rays the next day and they said no. I did not like that answer, I paid for them so I have the right to sign his records out whenever I ... read more
Will not ever go there again I brought my cat there about a year ago and the vet advised my cat, who is a stray that I took in, was pregnant and about 2 weeks away from delivering her kittens. I was advised that she was pregnant with 3 kittens and he would have to perform a late term spaying.
Very busy place Three vets and a large staff means you can get in for an appointment fairly quickly. Be prepared for a wait if it is busy. They actually seem to enjoy their work, which is refreshing.
