I’m getting harassed by a collection agency over a $35 bill from over 2 years ago, which i have the receipt for showing that i paid the day they services were rendered! Their incompetence has created huge headaches for me. If I actually did still owe them $35 from two years ago, wouldn’t a respectable business have mailed me a bill or called me and said “our records show you have an outstanding copay due from a few years back” and which point I could have given them my payment confirmation number?
