When my son was born the lactation specialist told me he probably was tongue tied. When he went to see his baby doctor at 2 days old; he said the same. I went to see Dr. Garcia and she agreed that Silas did have a tongue tie. She performed the procedure on him the same day; he was just 3 days old. I brought my teenage son in to see Dr. Garcia for the release of a “cheek tie”. We had no clue how much he was restricted with opening his mouth, until he was evaluated at his cleaning appointment. The moment that tie was released, it was like a whole new world (for the dentist and hygienist too, as they were able to access his posterior teeth in a much easier manner). Dr. Garcia is so wonderful, and we’re so happy to be a part of the DeMartino Dental Group!

This is the story of my grandson; Osei at 5 years old couldn’t sound certain words even though I tired Plenty of times to help him…He just couldn’t do it !
