Today, I underwent a colonoscopy with Dr. Contanzo and his team of nurses. It’s well-known that having a procedure can sometimes make us feel uneasy, and many experience white coat syndrome, causing our vital signs to rise. This is mostly about the ER. Was there on Aug 5th. My MIL had to come straight from her doctors appointment because her blood pressure was through the roof like stroke level. The receptionist was really short, my MIL hasn’t been to a hospital or doctor since her son a kid. She was treated like it was no big thing, and a BP of 213/210 is a VERY big deal. This hospital seems to think that Prednisone is the answer & treatment for everything! The doctor's have absolutely no compassion for patients.
