I was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley for what turned out to be appendicitis. I was pretty freaked out, 600 miles from home, first time I'd called 911 for myself, first time I'd needed surgery. And the people here put me at ease. I got right in, testing began, and I was in the OR that day. Everyone I dealt with was kind, professional, caring, and pleasant to be around. My father was admitted into the ICU twice this past year. The nursing staff were kind, attentive and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make both he and I feel comfortable. Unfortunately, my father passed, but we couldn't be more fortunate for it to have happened in that unit.

I like to tell you people like to complain about hospitals but the experience for me and my wife when my son was born it was 5 gold star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Avoid this hospital like the plague. There is nothing but consistent failure and incompetent care here. Do yourself and your loved ones a huge favor and continue down 93 to St. Luke's in Coaldale if you need medical care. You'll make it there and be admitted into quality care WELL before you're even close to being admitted here.

Although my mother is very happy with her care thus far, it is now 1 week and i still have not been contacted by case management or her care team, nurses are very nice but mother is 89 yrs and gets confused with telling what's going on, tried many different avenues to be reached back to no avail... Wish care team was better in communication with family..
