NASTY NASTY RECEPTIONISTS...THEY TELL YOU YOU WILL GET HUGE LAB BILLS BEFORE YOU GO IN FOR LAB WORK, RAISING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND WHEN YOU TELL THEM NO YOUR INSURANCE COVERS IT THEY GET NASTY WITH YOU AND TELL YOU YOU'RE WRONG.... THEN WHEN YOU TRY TO GO IN WITH THE PAID BILL THEY GET NASTY. THAT'S WHY THEY ONLY GOT 2 STARS THEY SUCK...DON'T GO THERE GO TO GEISINGER INSTEAD. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...THE ACTUAL LADIES WHO DO THE BLOOD WORK ARE NICE! I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS.
WARNING: Got standard lab work done, was charged THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. I could have paid $40-50 anywhere else. You see, this place bills for lab work as "hospital services" specifically so they can charge a mortgage payment instead of the standard fee. And yes, I was told I was "in network." I have no idea what would have happened if I wasn't in network--I guess I would have had to sell my house. If you need lab work, go to the Labcorp just a few minutes away. BEWARE: They charge exorbitant fees for standard lab work. If you can, go ANYWHERE ELSE or you’ll be fleeced. They told me I was “in network” but they wouldn’t tell me how much it would cost when I asked. Then I got a bill for $1.5k. It’s impossible to get anyone on the phone from this location for help.
Made appointment at Tobyhanna waited 1 hr didn’t get called in until complained then right into room now waiting over an hr how can u run a healthcare system like this ? If the people that are working in that office can’t run that place with efficiency they should be replaced now getting jerked around I’m sitting on phone w corporate and they are giving me the run around GREAT JOB people
