Mason did an amazing job on my husband's prosthetic eye. My husband lost his eye December 19, 2024 due to melanoma. Mason (and everyone at LeGrand) were great. Started at 9am and by 4pm husband left with his new eye 👁 that was perfectly matched to his seeing eye. We are grateful they are in our corner for my husband's healing journey.
A year later & my real name this time. Ian rocks again. First adjustment & polish of the prosthesis. Maybe it helps with mucus drainage from socket, and/or a combo with the surgeon prescribing me a steroid. My body may just be allergic to a foreign object. ;) And, Dryberta. lol LeGrand punctual, so was I & most clients, but not all. There's a Timmies, Wendy's, & many other options close by.
I lost my eye over 3 decades ago as a teenager while living in Manitoba. My self esteem dropped dramatically because of it. I had my first eye made in Winnipeg. The next year, I moved to Lethbridge for University and then I moved to Calgary. I started seeing Shirley but unhappy about the job. My mom has been coming here since the late 80s. These wonderful people and their predecessors have been making the most beautiful, realistic in life like prosthetic eyes. My mother lost her eye very early as a child in an accident and to this day a lot of people when they see her even people that have known her for a long time don’t know that one of her eyes is artificial.
