DO NOT TRUST LEGEND PERFORMANCE MARINE — Especially Chad. If I could give zero stars, I would. We brought our performance boat to Legend Performance Marine (LPM) to replace both 502 motors with Mercury factory remanufactured long blocks — a $55,000 job. What followed was an absolute nightmare. It seems that I am not the first to post about this, but I also had a negative experience with Legendary Performance and Marine that left me very disappointed. I brought some equipment in for warranty repair and was assured I would be taken care of, with a call once Chad had spoken to Connelly. After two weeks with no update, I reached out via voicemail. I was looking for somebody experienced with installing the Ilmor v10 engines in boats. Somebody from Ilmor told me to call Chad. I am in Michigan, and almost certainly will not be bringing my boat to Chad, and I was just looking for advice. Chad spent over an hour on the phone with me and gave me his time after 6pm.
