We thought this facility was beautiful and a great place for our family member. It was NOT!! Looks can be deceiving. Before you place your loved one in this facility do your research. There are places that are much better. The food was mediocre. The staff was fixed much better food than what the residents received. Our loved one did NOT receive the care we agreed to upon her admission. Her paperwork was not filed with her long term insurance for months on end we fought to get this done. Look elsewhere if you desire to see your loved one well nourished! At a time in life when nutrition and fresh produce and fruits and meals should be paramount, The Legend of Colorado Springs dismisses the repeated requests of family to address this problem. This serious concern has been brought to the CEO Matt Buchanan with no tangible results. I urge you to look elsewhere for your loved one if you want them to be able to enjoy their meals.
