The worst office to deal with. They’re rude. Intolerant. I tried to explain I have a learning disability and I needed her to slow down so I could write it down. She hung up on me, twice. They don’t return calls. Took almost 90 days to tell me I had been approved within 5 days. So I went an extra 3 months without a lawyer that I need, I’m being chastised and treated like crap by the courts now cuz they think I’m delaying on purpose. Friendly, helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. All around...SUPERB!!!

It's hard. I don't envy nor do I understand Canada's front line policing mandate and policy. Then legal aid feels like they are contemptuous toward me. So that is tough as well. I make less money now than I ever did but I find myself stammering under question about how and where the money comes and gos. Not that there is anything ill gotten or tax exempt.
