Been going for 4 years and over the past 6 months the food has been terrible. Plate of scallops tasted like it was day old leftovers. Even the chowder has gone down hill. Service is ok. Apps have come out with main course on several occasions
We went to Burtons first and it was a 90 minute wait so we picked Legals as usually was good in the past. It wasn’t very busy which we were surprised as Derby was. Wait staff were very nice and we were seated right away. Lots of empty tables which we thought was strange. Well we found out why. Got the fried pickles, were ok, not great. Legal C's is our go to dinner spot. Always excellent on all fronts from service to atmosphere but most importantly the food is on point. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
