It was a busy day since it was just before the musical matinee crowd showed up. I was able to get a seat at the bar before it filled up and had a good lunch before the show crowd. I visited around 3:40 PM on a Saturday. The restaurant was relatively quiet and mostly empty. As a solo diner, I was looking forward to sitting down and enjoying a relaxed meal after hearing so many recommendations. However, as I was being seated, the waitress told me that her manager wanted me to know the table would only be available until 4:30 PM due to upcoming reservations. For a chain restaurant, the food is fresh & the ingredients used are of good quality. My spouse & I enjoyed every bit of the experience, from the hospitality of the staff to the recommendations & service. The food is no doubt one of the best seafood restaurants hands down.
Probably one of the worst meals we have had! The food was BLAH no taste! It seemed like that's the food they would serve in a nursing home!! And someone should let them know what a Boston cream cake is all about because they clearly have no clue! My first experience with leagel seafood was when they first opened in Inman square, Cambridge Massachusetts.. they had no menu.
