Very rude kind of pointless on tell me all this information just to tell me they don’t have no lawyers then you get mad and hang up on me legal aid as a joke. They should be shut down if you’re asking for help then you go and waste somebody’s time what’s the point of even having a legal service that’s supposed to help people
Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with their customer service today. I was hung up on three separate times after providing the information they requested, including household income that has nothing to do with my personal financial situation. I live with family, and they do not contribute to or participate in my financial affairs, yet I still complied. Well the reviews are spot on. So rude and acted like I was stupid for asking for help.
I want to share my frustration regarding the Legal Aid Department that regularly visits the VA and claims to assist veterans. Despite being fully aware of veterans’ disability ratings and incomes, they informed me that I was ineligible for help because I supposedly earn too much. I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience seeking help from the Legal Aid Department that frequently advertises their services to veterans at the VA. Despite knowing our VA disability ratings and income levels upfront, they informed me that I ‘make too much’ to qualify for assistance.
