I attended a webinar about Special Needs Accounts. Atty. Randy Narkir, the presenter, was very informative and included many important points to consider when setting up a Special Needs account, as well as the pros and cons of First Party or Third Party trusts, who to chose as the manager for a Special Needs trust and the importance of using the correct legal language in the trust when it includes assets from retirement accounts (IRAs, 401k).
