Labs that normally take 2-3 days to get back, im currently on day 10 with no results. Contacted lab corp and can hardly understand the people that answer the phone. They assure me it'll be soon. But each time they just say oh it's running about ( whatever is two days longer than the wait I've had so far) they just keep pushing it back.
I called the direct line to the Labcorp location I wished to make an appointment for (I was provided the direct number via their corporate customer service number and representative). I wanted to verify that the local lab received the FAXed order for the test from my doctor before I made the appointment. I called three times over two days (The only option I was provided on the call was a prompt to leave a call back number and a message because they were experiencing too much traffic and they would get back to me soon). I was very skeptical about Labcorp because of the many bad reviews, but I had a great experience. I made a same day appointment, checked in quickly, was called up fairly quickly too. The best part was that the tech was fast and amazing. I have had a lot of trouble with people finding my veins and he was such a professional. I was in the lab for two minutes tops. He also apologized for every past phlebotomist who gave me a bad experience in the past. lol!
I have never had to call and complain about a lab appointment until today. I’ve had my blood drawn many times and this was the most painful. Phlebotomist was strange, wearing a Batman shirt with a cape attached (he’s a grown man) and no lab coat. He didn’t warn me before inserting the needle very fast and aggressively. He missed my vein initially, leaving a painful bruise as he moved the needle inside my arm. When filling the tubes he spilled some of my blood out of the top. Was just at the Salmon Creek Labcorp and had my blood drawn by the best nurse ever!! Cristy!! She was awesome!!
