When I was 18, I had a stroke and I hadn't been diagnosed with anything yet but the Dr told me if I had anymore symptoms to come into the er right away. So I had symptoms one night and I came into the ER just like I was told. The Dr that night didn't believe me. I told her to look at my chart and she told me to calm down. She mocked me. She thought I was irrational and freaking out for no reason so I left the ER and went home. I had a stroke that next morning and went to Providence hospital in the ambulance. Horrible, dirty place and security chooses who to check. All you need is a “fast food bag in hand” and security automatically says your door dash and lets you walk right in. We waited 7 hours when i had massive swelling in arms and legs, short of breath and they literally said i was fine and sent me home. Blood work came back different when i met my PCP. The lobby was full of people waiting hours prior. Bottom line is need more staff. Oh; how about the last room we were in had half eaten Chinese food and soda just sitting th... read more

I have severe pain. I went to Mount Hood legacy. The doctor of Sal me first he say there’s something wrong inside not hemorrhoids then nurse comes in later. Say it is hemorrhoids. Then nurse put something on me said it would numb the pain. It did not numb the pain at all then she say she will prescribe something that will when I get to the drugstore I find out that whatever they prescribe for me you can get on the counter so it’s useless because I already have what they prescribed. Long waits for emergency room, normal for all hospitals. very nice staff though, they helped a great deal, and I feel significantly better afterwards.

I cannot express enough how phenomenal my experience was at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center! From the moment I entered the building to the moment I was discharged, every single staff member went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, cared for, and reassured. First, I want to recognize my registered nurse, Amy! She was incredibly positive, funny, and welcoming.
