If you have never been here, there is security, with metal detectors as if you were entering a state building. This was not comfortable to begin with. The entry desk staff were friendly, so there is that. For any procedure you are escorted back by an employee and dropped at a door. You are not allowed to walk there yourself. This place is an absolute joke, the entire medical system is a joke. Employees have attitude and could care less if you just sit in a waiting room all day.
Haha, lot to start with. Never come here, for starters. The nurse that takes out the IV is not careful at all. Or puts the bandage correctly. Would also mention (shown in picture below or above, idk how this works) is my arm got bruised. From putting on the blood pressure sleeve. For being too tight. Not to mention, I could probably eliminate myself and they wouldn’t find my body in hours after. The lack of staff, attention and everything is abysmal. Wandered around searching for someone to tell me how to get a wheelchair for step mom. All info desks are unmanned, or manned with volunteers who dont know anything. Why? Just hire a couple people!
They handled my medical emergency and subsequent stay with kindness and efficiency. They were able to keep my kids with me (I was alone with two children) they helped keep the kids calm and with me til family could travel to meet us. The staff were attentive and kind. The male and female nurses were amazing and explained everything. All in all they made a hellishly painful experience go as smoothly as they could for us. It was a hard 4th of July adventure but I highly recommend this facility and their ER staff especially.
