We purchased our Bill Clark home just about 3 years ago. Being 800 miles away it was easier to purchase a home from a local builder rather than contract from the ground up. Ours was already up and running and would close within our time frame. Sandy was great through the whole process. Being among a field of production builders, Bill Clark homes are considerably better, with more bang for your buck. Is it a custom home? I have owned a Bill Clark home for several years. It has turned out to be complete junk from my severely cracked foundation literally to the roof. Bill Clark homes pulls their materials from the dumpsters of the other builders. Don't bother calling their rude and unprofessional office. That will prove to be a waste of your time. Take the warranty they gave you and throw it in the trash; it's worthless. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money up front and buy a better quality home. I’ve owned a Bill Clark home for 12 years. We have never able to adjust the temperature so that both the upstairs and downstairs were both comfortable. Finally, an HVAC technician with 20 years of experience spent a couple of hours and discovered that the contractor who originally installed the HVAC system didn’t put in a separate duct for the upstairs. Our home is less than 2 years old. Bill Clark treats it like it’s 20 years old! Front door pealed, not their problem, leak under our island, not their problem! Have spent thousands on repairs and received zero help from them. No accountability because we are past the one year mark. The leak destroyed our floors and trim around the island. Both plumbers said this was happening from the time the home was built. Couldn’t pay me to live in another Legacy home!
