Transparency matters. I was invited via Instagram to a FREE workout + InBody scan, encouraged to bring others, and asked for my availability. Shortly after, I received very different messaging by text including a dismissive tone and a completely different narrative. Policies changing is fine. Inconsistency, poor communication, and condescension are not. This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and an immediate ick. I’m sharing this so others can make informed decisions. Professionalism matters.
I joined a month and a half ago and was going every day. At first, I enjoyed it. The first incident I had to wait for one of the trainers who is videoing herself on one of the stations that I normally use and I had to wait 20 minutes before her she was finished and they said well she’s a trainer. My husband and I had a terrible first experience at Legacy Fit Ft. Lauderdale. When I signed up for the first free session, there was no mention anywhere about a 5-mile radius requirement. We arrived about 10 minutes late, checked in, and were walked to the training area. Instead of welcoming us or helping us get settled, the trainer immediately asked how far we lived.
