We are from our of town and excited to eat at Legacy Cafe again. Our previous experience, several months ago, was wonderful. This time, not so much. The restaurant was clean, our salads were delicious. Menu choices were very limited. I asked if the fried rice was spicy and was told it wasn't. A year ago, I had the best black bean burger ever. Freshly made with fresh ingredients That's no longer available. Today was a different story. Not many choices. I was with two women who cannot have spices. The girl behind the counter seemed afraid to speak. She assured us the shrimp fried rice wasn't spicy. The Big Breakfast was delicious, highly recommend.
Well... they opened at 7:30, according to Google. 8:15, they were mopping the floors and moving furniture. I GUESS we were to order from the counter, but there was no menu, digital or otherwise, coffee pots were empty, and they were not trying to assist customers. Little confused, so we left. We prefer small business "mom/pop" places, but this was crazy. We went to IHop
The best food we had in Louisiana! Very clean and cozy place. Nice service. Enjoyed a lots. The things we complain of is Too Much food with one order !
