Scheduling is a nightmare. Made an appointment Monday for an MRI. They cancelled it the next day because their machine is down but no one called to notify me. They also rescheduled my appointment without checking with me so then I had to sit on hold for over 45 minutes to try to reschedule. Probably best to double check your appointment time in MyChart before you head out the door.
I just had my first mammogram. Legacy's team was AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and explained everything so well. From Diane at the front desk to Carrie who did my mammogram and was so gentle. It didn't hurt at all. I then had a follow up ultrasound and found 2 lumps. Dr. Kahn explained the biopsy was needed and what that ment. They did a biopsy of both and the entire team was extremely kind, supportive and explained everything in detail. Lavinia my nurse was an angel and made me feel so comfortable. I got an older lady wearing a cross necklace for my mammogram, I can't remember her name, she was very nice. I thought to myself, wow she should be really good because she's probably been doing it a long time, fail. I am a mammographer also, and this was absolutely the worst mammogram I've ever had, she would not stop compressing even after I said that's enough, she just kept cranking.
