Before I start, I want to warn everyone that this is going to be a long review. I was an employee of Legacy at Maiden Park before the community was even open. During my several years of employment I saw things change. Some things for the better and some things not so much. I loved working there. The staff was amazing. RecommendedFor almost 3 years now this has been our Mothers home. I can’t say enough about the care and the love that she got here. The staff from the top down has been amazing. Mom was not at all happy about having to be moved into a facility but they really helped her adjust to a new way of life. I thank them all for sharing Moms final days with her when due to Covid we couldn’t. God Bless you all. — with Kelly Knorr.
I am absolutely disgusted at the postmortem care provided to my uncle. When my uncle passed away peacefully at the dining room table, the aids decided to cover him with a sheet, and leave him at the table until his power of attorney came. Once his son got there, the nurses told him he had to pick up my uncles lifeless body and transfer him to a wheelchair, wheel him into his room, and place him into bed. I AM SICK.
I am saddened to say that I will no longer be recommending this facility to anyone. My step father and Dad have had numerous problems with care. The most serious of them was giving my step father another residents medicine in August, and to my shock they did it again this past weekend. They gave him an overdose of his medicine. I am proud to lead such a dedicated and caring team as those who make up Legacy at Maiden Park.
I have heard a lot of bad things from different people and different families. I wouldn't even consider this place.
I absolutely recommend Legacy at Maiden Park .......... My friend has been living at Legacy for the past year. She has dementia and Alzheimer’s and is doing very well there. The care she gets is nothing but personal and professional. The staff and nurses have been attentive and patient with my dear friend. I couldn’t be any happier with the care she gets at Maiden Park.
