The facility lost great doctors like Dr Regan and is heavily reliant on Nurse Practitioners that are good. Front staff need training and are rude, the lab nurse couldn’t do pretty basic stuff like drawing blood from healthy adults. Everything points to poor management. Plenty of primary care doctors around time to move!
Very disappointing I went to the Leesburg Sterling Family Practice today for a walk-in visit for my mom. She had just gotten off work, so I called ahead exactly at 3:43 PM to make sure we could still come in. The person on the phone told me that as long as we arrived before 4:00, we’d be fine. I’m giving one star because of the front desk staff. I chose this family practice so my whole family could see one doctor, and I really like Dr. Rahib Poonawala. Unfortunately, the front desk is consistently rude, unhelpful, and seems unhappy to be there. They should be replaced or tainted to provide a better customer service. If not for the doctor, I’d already have switched providers. I will wait and see. The wait times are also far too long.
Everybody was very friendly. My appointment was in time.
