nice for a few hours My family went there for their pumpkinville. We had a good time. There were plenty of aniumals to feed and look at and they had a pony ride and camel ride that my 2 year old enjoyed. There was also a baby tiger which my family loved. The rest of the park was OK, but not worth the drive to go there. LOVE IT! This place is awesome! We went during the fall festival, Pumpkinville, which has moon bounces, hill slides, hay mazes, etc. in addition to the animals. You can go in the "contact area" where you can get up close and personal with many barnyard animals. This place is a lot of fun for the whole family. I see others have complained about the price, which I don't understand considering you pay $10 for a movie ticket in NoVa! Great fun The Leesburg park is a small zoo that has animals like Giant Tortoises, Lemurs, Deers, Emus, Cats and more. Its good for kids because they allow kids to pet and feed the animals and get up close with them. They also have a lot of activities and events taking place all the time. Kids can even go on Pony and wagon rides.
Leesburg Animal Park is a CATASTROPHE waiting to happen I won't go back there. It was overpriced and despite signs that children under age 16 had to be accompanied by a parent, there were many younger kids running around out of control without parents. There is absolutely NO ADULT SUPERVISION. This place is a catastrophe waiting to happen. The pony ride costs $3 and the kids got one turn around a 12 foot circle. Disgraceful!
