So sad came here today super excited to try it I got a basic turkey club, asked for provolone cheese ( got American ) the sub came with 1 piece of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, mayo, turkey. no onions no mustard no pickles nada. The lady who took my order seemed irritated at anything I asked or said. Sugar cane drink was delicious and fresh The baguette is delicious too. But what a sad sandwich :/
Ordered a #1 banh mi and they hella skimped on the filling. All pickled veggies, two slices of meat in the whole sandwich. Also $7 for a regular coffee in the middle of ghetto Oakland?
I had a great experience visiting this place and was really impressed from start to finish. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The presentation was nice, the portions were satisfying, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into preparing the food and drinks. The baguettes cannot be overhyped. There is a big light up sign in the window they turn on when the bread comes out of the oven. When it's on, stop, you won't be sorry. The sandwiches are on the same bread. The baguettes are one good thing that came from French colonialism.
