I am writing to formally report a deeply upsetting experience I had with an employee named Krista on May 19, 2026, at approximately 3:20 PM. My family and our pets have been loyal clients of Compassion Veterinary Services since they bought the business from Lee Hill Veterinary. Today, I called the clinic because my cat is ill and was prescribed a special diet by an emergency veterinary hospital. Recent first time visitor and couldn’t be more impressed. Staff was fantastic and the vet far exceeded my expectations! The prices were very reasonable. The surgery my dog needs is approximately $600 cheaper than what I was quoted a a “low cost” surgery clinic. So glad I saw the recommendations from other happy customers on Facebook
Edit: 05/06/2026. Correct, we last used this location while it was under different ownership, however the veterinarian who recommended we put our dog, Rocky (not Charlie) to sleep is still listed on CPC’s provider list. I waited to leave this review, because the doctor gave me the impression that Rocky’s conditions, if left alive, would lead to an imminent and inhumane death, even with treatment. They had no concern for our time, and they were less than transparent regarding their billing. Our cat had a small bump on his right rear leg, close to where he had received a rabies vaccination at the same office two weeks earlier. My wife called on a Friday to see if they could look at it to make sure there wasn't an infection. They weren't able to see him Friday, but they offered multiple time options for Saturday.
