I recently visited after cycling across the state from Terre Haute and checking into a nearby hotel. I got takeout, 3 piece, with green beans, mashed potatoes, as the sides. Chicken, it wasn't super crisp, but then I did take it in a box and drive several miles to the hotel, etc. Tasty though, and I ate every bit of it. I'm not sure how the chicken supply chain works, and I am not a frequent customer at fried chicken places, but the chicken pieces were quite a bit smaller than expected. Best chicken pot pie and hands down beats kfc. The only place you can get chicken livers. Lees in middletown doesn't even have them
