Referred by Insurance—Big Mistake. Avoid This Place! My insurance company referred me to Lee’s Automotive for repairs after a minor parking lot hit-and-run—which should have been my first red flag. What should have been a simple fix turned into a disaster, and I got my car back in worse condition than before. The original damage was just a scrape/rubbed paint on my rear bumper. They worked on my vehicle after someone drilled a hole in my gas tank. The repairs were good. They didn't really communicate with me, but my insurance company said they communicated with them. I only heard from them when the work was done and they waited until an hour before they closed to call me to pick up my vehicle. I had to call for a ride and got there just before closing.However they left a sensor or something unplugged so my check engine light came on a mile from the shop.
