I recently called Leeming Medical Centre and had a disappointing experience with the receptionist, Gayatri. She was extremely rude and provided incorrect information over the phone. When I asked for clarification, she spoke to me in a condescending tone and seemed unwilling to help. I am a previous patient and requested for my results to be sent to the other clinic. Rude receptionist, the doctor who my wife saw was running really late, so she ended up being seen 30 minutes late. Whilst she went to do a 1 minute urine test the doctor took in another patient, so another 30 minute wait for the doctor to finish with that patient. What a joke of a practice.
Since moving suburbs and trying different gps/doctors, I’ve confidently returned to Leeming Medical Centre seeing Dr.Babu. He genuinely cares, and will do his best to help. Highly recommend.
It’s a ridiculous experience. I made a Telehealth appointment booking over phone. I asked about the pricing because i am not familiar with the rebate policy. the young lady said I could get medicare rebate for the appointment. Few days later I got charged the full fee $95 without any rebate. I called back the same lady picked up the call and said she remembered me and me unfortunately the rebated doesn’t apply on new patient.
