10/30/2019 was my first appointment with Dr. Rao, and she really impressed me.! Why, because she wanted to know all about me as a person and not just my breast cancer! Dr. Rao even took the time to give me a physical exam. After that she let me ask her questions . Then, she actually sat down by me with pen and paper and wrote down exactly what type of cancer I have-other tests that needed to be done- the treatment plan for me. Dr. Rao saw me at GlenOaks Hospital and a follow-up visit was scheduled two weeks after release. I went to the scheduled appointment on a Wednesday and the receptionist said Dr. Rao isn't in the office on Wednesdays and is at the hospital doing rounds and I wouldn't be seen after driving all the way to Bolingbrook. Dr. Rao is I'm sure a very good doctor but the admin/office appointment process is unreliable and I cannot recommend the practice outside of the emergency medicine interaction I had
I wouldn't trust her with treating anything, she is cold, heartless, irresponsible and flat out doesn't care about her patients. She told one of my loved ones to just, and I quote, "give up". Her staff echoed these sentiments and every time my loved one visited these so called doctors she left feeling hopeless, hurt and depressed. I and my family regret everyday having gone to these people, if I ever step foot into Adventist Bolingbrook again it will be too soon. Seek medical help elsewhere
