When the company I was using for my accounting services closed, one of their employees took a job with Mongelli and Associates and without my knowledge or permission, completed some unfinished work and sent me a $210 invoice. I was in the process of finding a new firm when the invoice arrived so obviously refused to pay it. I explained this in great detail to Mongelli. For years, I utilized the tax services of a CPA named Dave from Cirrus Tax Service, who provided excellent service. However, as Dave aged, he sold or merged his business with another company, LMA. Previously, I communicated directly with Dave, but after the ownership change, LMA introduced a new process where clients had to communicate through a receptionist, Alexis (for me).
