My name is David Alexander Henley (DOB: November 8, 1993). I am submitting this formal grievance regarding the care I received from Dr. David M. Ondrako in the Emergency Department at Coconut Point. I respectfully request that this complaint be investigated through Lee Health’s Patient Relations, Quality Assurance, and Physician Peer Review processes. This complaint is not based on the fact that I did not receive narcotic medication. Rather, it concerns what I believe was inaccurate medical documentation, dismissive communic... read more

Having to wait 30 minutes to enter the ER because lack of communication to see my spouse that was bought in by an ambulance that i followed there was infuriating. I have never heard of making someone wait to enter the ER to see a patient until they get “settled in” it was just infuriating. Never ever have I had that experience. I would be more understanding if some type of severe, critical & immediate measures for care were being taken. It was triage. I would like to give all the stars to Dr Chambers at Lee Coconut emergency. When I saw her, it was my third time to the ER for pain management. I told her that I had just had an appointment with my pain management doctor, not a Lee Health doctor. Dr Chambers said I would immediately be transported to Gulf Coast Medical, I would see a neuro surgeon after having an MRI. Dr Chambers made things happen in mere minutes aft... read more

Recently went to see a heart doctor and he recommended stress test and echo cardio test as a doctor The oath that they take is to look out for the patient not the hospital. Nobody mentioned to me that if I went elsewhere, I may pay a zero copayment partially my fault I did not call Aetna won’t happen again $1100 later versus zero buyer beware do your homework call your insurance. I’m retired on a fixed income as many paying off $1100 at 28% thank you.

First, I went to urgent care. The doctor there told me they didn’t have anyone thereto work the ct scan. So she sent me to the ER right near by. I sat there for 3 hours and the waiting room was empty. I could be in my deathbed before I would ever go here again.
