I had a very stressful experience during my road tests at this location. I tested twice with the same examiner on the same day. He spoke very quickly, was impatient, and did not communicate his instructions clearly. I understand that road tests must follow strict safety rules, but applicants should still be treated with patience and respect. The examiner’s attitude made me much more nervous and negatively affected my experience.
Phil did a great job! He was super helpful and got me in and out quickly! He even had to consult with the manager and she was super helpful and friendly! You hear bad stories about the DMV, but the South Fort Myers Lee County tax collector is amazing!
I waited 3 weeks for my appointment to transfer a motorcycle title from out of state. I even selected "out of state title transfer" when making the appointment. I took off an afternoon from work and drove from Cape Coral. At no point while making the appointment online was I instructed to physically drive the moto to this site for a VIN check. Phil took his time reviewing our 3 plate renewals to confirm we had the choice we wanted as well as confirming that we were being invoiced the correct amount for each plate. One of the best dealings I have experienced with FL DMV
