I found her refreshingly blunt at times, a fun personality, but very knowledgeable and professional. She figured out my high blood pressure problem when three other physicians could not. She got me on the right medicinal regimen and got the high BP under control, once and for all. When she later left her Akron practice, I made sure to track her down to her new location so I could continue under her care!
My husband has been going to Dr lee for years. He had his lab test done and had apt with her. He is 80 and requested a tela-apt. She refused: Office told him he could get a mask when coming to her office which is inside hospital..Really??? They must not be listening to the news!!
I have heard from many people that they think Dr. Lee is too stiff. I know better. She will warm up to you if you take the time to get to know her. She was my nephrologist until I started home dialysis when I was assigned another doctor. I still miss seeing her. I found her knowledgeable and a great help if you are willing to listen to what she tells you. I haven't been a patient since she left Akron Nephrology so I can't answer some of the ratings.
Very poor bedside manner. Makes comments about other serious illnesses that are not her specialty, that you are seeing your family doc and a specialist for. Comments that I should change doctors, then every one I ask her about, she has derogatory reasons for not choosing them. ( 2 were because they were Cleveland Clinic Drs ). Then goes on to mention that if she was allowed, she’d recommend her husband, who works in the same office with her. Very negative experience. Won’t be going back.
Dr. Lee has seen me many times over a period of approximatly 15 years. I first saw her when her main office was in Akron. She never rushes me. Like talking to her.
Do not see this doctor! The whole office is bunch of lunatics!
