I met with Dr. Lee today for the first time to discuss options available to improve obstructed vision. Since my situation is complex, he was the 8th MD who I've met with ~ and by far one of the two BEST! (The other great one was Dr. Alexis Buckley at MGH). Dr. Lee talked with me at length as if I was a valued patient capable of understanding him. He recognized the importance of explaining things completely and answering my numerous questions. Dr. Lee was arrogant, condescending and unprepared for my visit. He was insensitive to my condition and ultimately told me “it’s not that bad” when discussing my partially paralyzed face. He was dismissive and uninterested in providing care.
I'm really shocked to see some of the low star reviews especially regarding Dr Lee bedside manner. I think he is extremely thorough, he really takes his time to listen and answer every question. He is very honest and he makes me feel very comfortable. His bedside manner is excellent. I had a septorhinoplasty with him almost 3 years ago I had an amazing experience and recovery he did a great job and I am now going to book another surgery with him. My trust in this doctor has been broken. He wrote his office note claiming that I had a procedure done during a consultation. He has not returned me calls or updated the note to reflect that the procedure was not done. I have a substantial outstanding bill from Tufts for a procedure and the procedure room. Very unhappy with this service.
