I was a patient of DR Lederich for many years same as my father. I tried to make a recent appointment with him today and I was turned away due to no referral. My insurance does not require me to have a referral and I have been a patient of his in the past. I was turned away without a second thought. Needless to say I will be looking for a new ENT. Not because of the doctors but because of the staff.
I was a possible incoming new patient after a referral from my doctor. I called 4 times in a row, you can hear the phone being picked up and immediately hung up 3 times. By the 4th call a rude lady picks up the phone with an "ugh I hate my job" attitude. After all that they don't accept my insurance anyway, would have been easier picking up the first time the phone rang. Thankfully I'm not going there after all.

I had a terrible experience with this doctor. After waiting for over an hour in a COVID mask, he finally appeared. I came in with a painful ear, and his diagnosis was an ear infection, prescribing drops. It turns out I had streptococcus bacteria in my ear, as another doctor later discovered. When I asked about occasional night snoring, he didn't even examine my throat, dismissively suggesting I cut down on food because of my weight. Ironically, he himself is twice as heavy.
