Absolutely terrible highway maintenance this year. It’s almost like they have only 1-2 plows for the entirety of Highway 43. A full 12 hours can go by before they bring plows out after a storm. Not to mention the lack of salt/sand on glare ice for days at a time. I’ve never seen so many accidents and I’ve lived on this highway my whole life. Bring LaPrairie back, this is getting ridiculous. Worked for ledcor a couple years back. Ran a rubber tire roller that got sent out of their shop with faulty breaks. After a couple small runaways down hill I tried to refuse to run the roller, was told if I didn't like it they would find someone else to do my job. Being young and dumb I continued to run it. Resulted In roller loosing breaks down hill and had to steer it into a guard rail to save my life.
