Racial bias. No way am I ever coming back. You'd think pigeon forge business owners would have more sense in civility. Especially with it being a hospital supported thrift store.
I usually love supporting thrift stores, especially ones tied to a healthcare mission, but my experience at Covenant Health Thrift Store in Pigeon Forge was upsetting. My partner, who is a woman of color, was treated with visible coldness and rudeness by the staff. Not a single word was spoken to her at checkout—no greeting, no thank you, nothing—just a dismissive attitude that was hard to ignore. We did not feel welcome in the store. No greetings. And it felt like we were being watched since we are mostly people of color. So we left before we finished looking around.
Been here 1 time was really impressed good low prices we can afford😊And the two ladies that worked there was super sweet and very helpful. I wished I would have got there's names . I will definitely go back good Lord's will 😊
