My partner of 21 years recently suffered a stroke which has affected her cognitive abilities. Just before her stroke we had managed to secure financing on the home she has lived in for 30 years which was paid for until her daughter borrowed against the home and then got her mother to sign over title to the lender and the mother became a tenant in her home that she had paid for.
