Food good, screaming bad I have been going to this restaurant, on and off, for years. I mainly ordered takeout because of unpleasant servers in the past and the hideous decor. Well, the one time I actually stayed I remembered why I always do the takeout. As we entered, the waitress looked very sullen and was not friendly as we seated ourselves. FOOD is "FAB" !!!! ....ambiance & decor is non-existant Although the strong smell of Smart & Final disinfectant greets you at the door; Don't let that stop you...the food is WONDERFUL! This small hole in the wall restaurant, run by a Lebanese family; has no decor or ambiance (other than Lebanese music resounding off the badly sponge-painted walls.) Great food at a great price This is a bit of a hole in the wall place though they are doing major renovations right now and it should be both bigger and nicer when they are done. When you go for lunch, don't just get the regular plates, they have even cheaper lunch specials, a bit smaller, but plenty. Their taboule and homous are great and the the shwarma is amazing.
